On our last full day at the beach we went back to Okracoke Island. We decided to go into the village this time first and look and the old pirate town and see the light house. We got to ride the ferry again and feed the birds. There weren't quite as many this go
round but enough. When we got to Okracoke we had a picnic by the docks. Macy was extremely captivated by the crabs and Laney slept through the entire thing. Then we went to see the Okracoke Light house. Macy found some ducks. They were walking down the street next to the light house. They were very tame and let Macy get fairly close. Then we went to a great beach that had very low surf. This didn't entice Macy or Laney to get in the water any more than any other beach.
