Twas quarter til seven,
To the hospital we go
Not a creature was stirring
except a child in utero.
With me in my robe
and Jason beside me
We waited to greet
Our little Laney.
A full head of hair
and a face so beautiful
she came to us in 3 hours
without and epidural.
We brought her home
to meet little sis.
She greeted her sweetly
with a hug and a kiss.
And now a year later
She's one year old.
She's cute as a button
with a heart of gold.
It's hard to believe
that a year has past.
Her cute little face
is changing so fast
Our hearts she can melt
and she knows how to
with her cute little grin
and little Laney coos.
We cant wait to see
what the next year will bring
But we'll cherish every smile
every laugh everything!
