Beach Vacation: Day Two

On Day two we took the ferry to Okracoke Island. There were alot of birds following the boat so we got to feed them. We were feeding them Potato Chips. The birds really liked the chips. They followed us all over the boat. I think a few followed us around the Island.
Macy really liked watching us feed the birds but she didn't want to feed them. Since you had to hold the chip in your hand and let the bird come to you, it was a bit intimidating. But she was safe in Uncle Mike's arms.

We found a great beach with lots of sand. This may sound silly but the tides are so high that it's tough to find a beach with alot of sand to play in. The girls played in their sand buckets and hunted for sea shells. They could have played all day there. Macy even let me take her in the water. She didn't like it, but she went in.

The waves were alot calmer than the ones in Avon. The waves here are trecherous. It is so hard to even walk on the edge of the ocean because they are so strong the surf will knock you over.

One the way home the birds found us again. All the girls were asleep so we fed them alone. It was a good thing because the birds were dive bombing to get our chips.
It was a very fun day....but tiring!

You're brother is going to develop an aversion to beach houses. Lately everyone he goes to has screaming babies.
